The basis of much of the physics in our models is captured in a series of algorithms.   These algorithms describe the physical and conceptual processes in quantitative terms that are tractable for practical applications.

In our work, we have developed algorithms for fuel characterization, combustion transformations, ash deposition, and development of deposit properties.  The deposit properties of greatest concern include thermal conductivity, emissivity/reflectivity, and deposit strength.
